Going by the proxy statements presented by Nabors Industries, Anthony Petrello received $27,512,939 in total compensations for the 2015 fiscal year. Out of this figure, $9,307,077 was received in total cash compensation and $16,863,656 in total equity. The cash compensation was broken further to $1.58 million in base pay and $7.727 million in bonus and incentive. For the total equity, the entire amount came from the stock award value.
Anthony’s Daughter, Carena
Anthony Petrello’s wife delivered a baby girl, Carena Petrello, in 1997 who suffered from Periventricular Leukomalacia. Despite being an affluent family, Anthony and Cynthia were not able to secure proper treatment for their daughter due to lack of medical facilities to address her problem. Since then, the couple decided to dedicate a huge part of their wealth to finding a solution to childhood neurological diseases. Today, Tony and Cynthia support the Texas Children’s Hospital.
